About us

The Bucks Head Restaurant with Rooms located in Dundrum, Co Down has been recently refurbished and is now operated by Michelin Starred Chef Alex Greene and former Deanes Restaurant Group General Manager, Bronagh McCormick. Our goal is to offer guests the opportunity to experience quality cuisine in a cozy, modern and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the management team with managerial duties, such as orders, staff training, cash ups and general operating of the business.
  • Supporting junior members of the team.
  • Managing a busy section independently.
  • Managing table plans and restaurant reservations.
  • Dealing with customer enquiries and making bookings.
  • Greeting guests warmly and escorting them to their tables.
  • Presenting menus and providing detailed explanations of menu items, including specials and wine selections.
  • Taking accurate orders from customers, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a clean, organised, and inviting dining environment.
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties, such as setting up tables, polishing silverware, and restocking supplies.
  • Serving food and beverages elegantly, adhering to proper service techniques and etiquette.
  • Checking in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
  • Continuously striving to enhance the overall dining experience for guests through exceptional service and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50 per hour
